Terms of Service

1.Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using ChatLesh, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Child Safety Standards. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2.Eligibility

You may use ChatLesh only if all of the following are true:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You can form a legally binding contract with ChatLesh under the laws of your country of residence.
• You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.
• You have not previously been permanently terminated by us for a policy violation.
• You will provide accurate information about yourself (name, age, gender, photos).

3.Your Account

3.1 Registration

To use ChatLesh you must sign in with a supported third-party identity provider (currently Google Sign-In; Apple and Phone-based sign-in on iOS). You may hold only one active account at a time.

3.2 Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, including your date of birth, gender, name, and photographs. Providing false information is a breach of these Terms and may lead to account termination.

3.3 Security

You are responsible for keeping your identity provider account (Google / Apple) secure. All activity performed through your ChatLesh account is deemed to be your activity. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.4 One person, one account

Each individual may hold only one ChatLesh account. Creating multiple accounts, using another person's account, or attempting to circumvent an account termination (through device changes, new emails, or new sign-in methods) is prohibited and enforced by device-fingerprint and email-hash blacklists.

4.Your Conduct on ChatLesh

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards in full. In particular, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user;
• Send sexually explicit content to a person who has not clearly consented, and never to minors under any circumstance;
• Post nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or content depicting graphic violence;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
• Solicit money, gifts, or commercial services from other users;
• Promote drugs, weapons, gambling, escort services, or any illegal activity;
• Attempt to redirect users off-platform for the purpose of scamming, grooming, or fraud;
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the app;
• Interfere with the operation of the Service (rate abuse, spam, denial of service).

5.Content You Post

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload to ChatLesh (photos, profile text, messages). You grant ChatLesh a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service, moderating it, and providing it to the users you have chosen to share it with.

5.2 Responsibility

You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have permission to upload the content, (b) the content does not infringe any third-party rights, and (c) it complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

5.3 Moderation

All content uploaded to ChatLesh is subject to automated (AI-assisted) and human review. We may remove, blur, or refuse to publish any content at our sole discretion. Removal decisions can be appealed by contacting support@chatlesh.com.

6.Purchases and Subscriptions

6.1 In-app purchases

ChatLesh offers optional in-app products, including consumable credit packs and auto-renewing subscriptions (King & Queen, See Who Likes You). All purchases are processed by the platform store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and governed by the store's terms.

6.2 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS).

6.3 Refunds

Refunds are processed by the platform store, not by ChatLesh directly. Please refer to the store's refund policy. Where required by law (e.g. EU 14-day withdrawal right for digital content), your statutory rights are preserved.

6.4 Credits

Purchased credits are non-refundable once granted to your account, are for personal use only, are not transferable, and expire when your account is terminated. Credits have no cash value.

7.Third-Party Services

The Service uses several third-party providers, including Google Firebase (auth, database, storage, push, analytics), Google Cloud Translation, Google Vertex AI (Gemini), Google Play Services (integrity check), and AdMob. Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for a full list.

8.Intellectual Property

ChatLesh, the ChatLesh name, logo, design, and software are the property of Okutan Digital and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

9.Termination

9.1 By you

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app or by writing to support@chatlesh.com. See our Data Deletion page for details on what is deleted and what is retained.

9.2 By us

We may suspend, freeze, or terminate your account without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or if your continued use poses a risk to other users. Violations related to child safety (CSAE) result in immediate permanent termination and legal reporting.

9.3 Effect of termination

On termination your profile, photos, and chat history are deleted or made inaccessible. Certain data may be retained for anti-abuse, legal compliance, and fraud prevention as described in our Privacy Policy.

10.Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ChatLesh does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

ChatLesh does not conduct background checks on users. Any interactions you have with other users — online or offline — are at your own risk. Please review our Safety Tips before meeting anyone in person.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChatLesh, Okutan Digital, and their officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to ChatLesh in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

12.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ChatLesh, Okutan Digital, and their affiliates harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13.Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.

For EU residents: nothing in this section deprives you of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence where mandatory consumer law applies.

14.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app and by email to the address associated with your identity provider. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
