ChatLesh is a social and dating application operated by Okutan Digital, available exclusively to adults aged 18 and older. This document sets out our binding standards for the protection of minors and our approach to preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
1.Our Commitment
ChatLesh commits to maintaining a platform that is hostile to any form of harm against children. We prohibit all Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming behavior, and any attempt by an adult to sexualize a minor. We prevent, detect, respond to, and report such content in coordination with law enforcement.
2.Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on ChatLesh, without exception:
- Any sexual text, image, audio, or video content involving a person under 18 (CSAM)
- Grooming, luring, or coercing a child for sexual purposes
- Sending sexually suggestive messages, propositions, or invitations to minors
- Using false age, fake profile, or false identity to make sexual contact with children
- Content that normalizes, defends, or promotes child sexual exploitation
- Any attempt to circumvent our age verification system (18+ requirement)
- Registration on ChatLesh by any individual under the age of 18
- Sharing or requesting nude, semi-nude, or sexualized imagery of minors
- Any content that appears to depict a child, even if computer-generated (CGI CSAM is treated identically to real CSAM)
3.Reporting Channels
Any user or member of the public can immediately report a situation, profile, or content that raises child safety concerns. Three reporting channels are available:
a) In-App Reporting (recommended)
Every user profile and chat screen in ChatLesh has a 3-dot menu → "Report" action. Categories include "Child safety / Under 18" and "Inappropriate content". Reports are delivered to our moderation team in real time.
b) Dedicated Child Safety Contact
For any CSAE-related concern, contact us directly:
Email: childsafety@chatlesh.com
Team: ChatLesh Child Safety Team (Okutan Digital)
Response time: Urgent reports are triaged within 24 hours.
c) General Support
Email: support@chatlesh.com
For any moderation matter not directly related to CSAE.
4.What Happens When a Report Is Received
The moment a CSAE report reaches us, we follow this process:
- Immediate suspension — the reported account and content are suspended within hours; the content becomes inaccessible in the app.
- Review — the Child Safety Team reviews the report while preserving evidence integrity. A human moderator makes the final decision.
- Permanent ban — if the violation is confirmed, the account is permanently closed and the user is blocked from re-registering (device fingerprint + email blacklist).
- Evidence preservation — relevant content and metadata are securely retained for the applicable legal preservation period before deletion.
- Legal reporting — CSAM is reported to the appropriate authority (United States: NCMEC; Türkiye: USOM / ICTA; European Union: local competent authorities).
5.Proactive Safeguards
We do not rely on reports alone. The following proactive safeguards are always active:
- 18+ age gate — date of birth is verified at registration; users identified as under 18 are blocked from signing up.
- AI-assisted moderation — every profile text and uploaded photo is scanned by Google Vertex AI (Gemini image moderation) at upload time. Profiles containing inappropriate content are not published.
- Face verification — users may optionally verify their account via a liveness check; this helps deter fake accounts and age fraud.
- Device + email blacklists — accounts terminated for violations cannot re-register from the same device or with the same email.
- Human moderation team — reports are reviewed by human moderators; automated decisions can be appealed.
- Ongoing training — moderation staff receive regular training on child safety, grooming patterns, and CSAM recognition.
6.Legal Compliance
ChatLesh complies with the following child safety laws and regulations:
- Türkiye — Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Broadcasts on the Internet
- Türkiye — Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 (child abuse provisions)
- European Union — General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions on children's data
- European Union — Digital Services Act (DSA) child protection obligations
- United States — 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (mandatory NCMEC reporting for electronic communication service providers)
- Google Play — Child Safety Standards Policy
- Apple App Store — Kids Category and safety guidelines (where applicable)
